みなさん、こんにちは！
Hello everyone!
日本旅行三日目は東京・銀座エリア。天気が良かったので涼しいうちに皇居に行こうということで午前中に行ったはいいものの、暑すぎてすぐバテバテに。スペインから来られたパートナーの家族も、湿気があるからスペインより暑い！と驚いていました。幸い、至る所に自販機があるので水分補給はバッチリできました。いや〜日本便利。
Day 3 - Tokyo & Ginza area. The weather was nice so we decided to visit the Imperial Palace during the morning as it's cooler, but it was too hot and we got tired very quickly. Even my partner's family from Spain said that it's hotter than in Spain because it's so humid! Luckily, there were vending machines everywhere, which allowed us to stay hydrated!
皇居ウォークの後は銀座へ。歩き疲れたので「とらや」でひと休憩。お抹茶や、なんと言っても夏に出るイチゴのかき氷は絶品！普段あまり甘いものを食べない私でもめっちゃ好きです^^
After the Imperial Palace walk, we headed to Ginza. We were quite tired so we entered Toraya. Authentic matcha, and Kaki-Gori (shaved ice) exclusive in summer were awesome! I'm not a big fan of sweets, but I really like their Japanese sweets!
冷たい和菓子でリフレッシュした後、お店を出ると外を見ると車道に人がたくさん！メインストリートが歩行者天国になっていました。他の観光客みたいに、それぞれ車道の真ん中に立ってセルフィーを撮りました！いかにも「東京」という感じの風景がいいですね！写真を取るのに夢中になって熱中症になりそうでしたが・・・
Having been refreshed, we went out of the cafe and found a lot of people on the road! It seemed that the main street was free-of-vehicle during certain time of the day. Like other tourists, each of us stood in the middle of the road and took selfies! The background was like typical "Tokyo" which was super cool! I almost got heat attack getting to excited taking photos...
その後いっとき所謂「銀ブラ」をしたんですが、姉オススメの AKOMEYA TOKYO に行ってきました！日本のいい食材、いいモノが集めてあって、見てて飽きませんでした。日本に住んでたらたくさん買って帰るのになあと思いながら・・・。でも、二階にあった「青森ヒバ精油」をゲット！木のいい匂いをイギリスのアパートで振りまくために！アコメヤ、ちょっとわかりにくいところにありますが、銀座に行かれた方は要チェックですよ！
After that we walked around the Ginza area and went to my sister's recommendation, AKOMEYA TOKYO! They've got high quality Japanese ingredients, tools and stuff - I never got bored seeing all the things there! Thinking I would buy all these if I lived in Japan now... I bought Hiba Oil that I found upstairs. To make my flat in the UK smell like wood! The store is located in a place that is a bit difficult to find, but it's worth going there if you go to Ginza!
夜は姉と弟と合流して、みんなで鳥料理「宮新」へ。いろんな種類の焼き鳥を一通り食べて、最後の方にごはん、デザートと、お腹いっぱいに。スペインの家族も大喜びでした！特に人気だったのはつくね！せっかくだから日本酒をということで頼んだら、升に入って出てきて。スペインの家族も珍しがって盛り上がってよかったです。私も升に入った日本酒を飲むのは人生初でした。（料理に夢中で全然写真取らなかった・・・）
At night having meeting up with my sister and brother, we went to Miyashin (a chicken specialty restaurant) for dinner. We had a variety of chicken skewers, rice with chicken, and desserts... and got very full. My partner's family seemed really happy with it! They especially liked Tsukune (grounded chicken)! We ordered Sake to try, then it came with a little wooden box called "masu"! It was the first time for them to see sake glass in a wooden box, so they seemed to be curious about it. Actually it was my first time to see sake served like that as well! (And I completely forgot to take photos as I was too excited about the food...)
みんなでワイワイしてお酒で浮かれていい気分でサヨナラしました。お店を予約したり、わざわざ会いに来てくれた姉と弟に感謝です。とてもいい夜でした！
We had a really good time and we were feeling good thanks to sake! I am grateful for my sister and brother organising the dinner and coming to see us! It was such a enjoyable night!
